Rachel Fleit is a writer and director who lives in Brooklyn, NY. Her short documentary films, Barbara & Stanley: A Modern Romance (2016) and Gefilte (2018), can be seen on NOWNESS. Rachel is very proud to share that Gefilte is currently slated to play at almost every single Jewish Film Festival in the USA and UK. Rachel is a 2019 grant recipient from the New York Foundation for the Arts, Women’s Fund for Film, TV & Theatre for her upcoming short documentary, Ava & Bianca, about the unique relationship between two female cinematographers who happen to be transgender.
Rachel is on the director’s roster at Good Story Films. She has developed and directed branded content for UBS Bank, Cadillac, Veuve Clicquot, Peanut, BRIDES, Physique 57, Bumble, Ohlin/D, Paskho, Eileen Fisher, Ad Council & #SheCanStem. She is also a proud advocate of people living with Alopecia. She has had Alopecia since she was 18 months old and has appeared in The New York Times, New York Magazine, Vogue.com, The Wall Street Journal, W Magazine, Today.com, and Refinery 29.
