Kristen Arter (she/her)
Executive Director
A New Jersey native, Kristen has been with PJFM since 2007. After majoring in Graphic Design at the University of the Arts, she attended La Salle University where she focused on nonprofit administration. An avid music enthusiast and film lover, Kristen previously owned and operated JAM Musical Industries, a one-stop-shop for independent musicians that served a booking agency, recording studio, video production, and tour management.

Larry Fried (he/him)
Program Director
Larry Fried (he/him) is a film critic and film programmer based in Philadelphia. Originally from East Brunswick, New Jersey, Larry graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University with a BFA in Digital Filmmaking. He serves as a member of the Selection Jury for the East Brunswick Independent Film Festival, a nonprofit film festival based in his hometown. His writing has been featured on websites such as Slash Film, POV Magazine, and Nintendo Life and he has worked with several nonprofit organizations across New Jersey including Monmouth Arts, Special Olympics New Jersey, and The Williams Center in Rutherford, NJ. Larry is passionate about storytelling in all mediums, including cinema, live theater, music, and essay writing.

Paige Wolf (she/her)
Communications Director
After working with PJFM to promote various festivals and special events, she is thrilled to join the team as Communications Director. For more than 20 years, Paige has run Paige Wolf Media and Public Relations, providing communications services to a diverse range of clients, including nonprofit organizations and mission-driven businesses. She loves sharing stories and connecting people with the beauty of the diverse Jewish experience.

Beth Ilyssa Becker (she/her)
Program Logistics and Operations Manager
Beth grew up in New Jersey and received her BFA in Musical Theater from the University of the Arts. After working as a performer in and around Philadelphia, she went to the University of Delaware to earn her Masters in American History and a Certificate in Museum Studies. After several years as a museum professional in Philadelphia, Beth took family leave and helped her husband run his law practice. She is a lifelong fan of Jewish storytelling and is thrilled to work at PJFM.
