For over 20 years, Dafna Yachin has written, produced and directed award-winning television, national commercials, educational programs and multimedia campaigns. Her projects have aired on CBS, ABC, Discovery, History, NBC Universal Kids and SyFy. She has been instrumental in creating lasting series formats for both cable and syndication, as well as launching engaging cross-platform brand campaigns for both NGO and Commercial clients. Partnering with change-makers and production teams in over 30 countries, for the last 10 years, Dafna has focused her documentary and online initiatives in the Humanities, Justice and Women’s Rights arenas.
Her latest feature documentary, The Great Flip-Off (2018), was just released by Gravitas Ventures. Her first feature documentary, Digital Dharma (2012), is distributed by Off the Fence and was Oscar-qualified. Dafna’s debut feature narrative, Relative Control, is now in pre-production and being worked on with the Sundance Directors’ Co/lab. She is the VP of the Board for Philadelphia Women in Film and Television (PWIFT), an organization dedicated to recognizing, celebrating and advancing the professional development and achievement of women working in all areas of film, television, video, multimedia and related disciplines.
