PJFM’s second Jewish New Media Festival is FINALLY back!In this day and age, digital content – the everyday videos we see on our phones, iPads, computers, etc. on a daily basis – is an essential part of life. From podcasters to TikTokers, Instagrammers to YouTubers or “vloggers” and VR (Virtual Reality) artists, digital content creators continue to play a vital role in the ever-growing world of onscreen media. JEWISH digital content creators are just some of the many contributors to this spectrum. No matter the objective of their content, whether it is comical or serious, whether it explores a particular topic of Judaism or a broader one, their art is essential in educating Jews and non-Jews across the globe.The Jewish New Media Festival began in December of 2019 as a way to collectively celebrate and explore the new, unique ways Jewish storytelling continues to be made through digital means. After four long years, PJFM is bringing this festival back May 20-22 at the Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History.Featuring special guests like Jewish rapper sensation Kosha Dillz and the hosts of the Unorthodox podcast, the world’s leading Jewish podcast, this festival is sure to entertain and delight you.
