Ryan S. Porush is a documentary filmmaker and journalist based in Los Angeles and NYC. He has produced, filmed and edited documentaries and short films around the world, with an emphasis on telling dynamic, character-driven stories. Ryan received a BA from UC Santa Barbara and subsequently earned a Master’s degree in documentary journalism from New York University. He has collaborated with VICE Magazine, National Geographic, Mic, GQ, Vocativ, New York Magazine, and Mandalay Sports Media. His first short documentary film, Two Hundred Percent, screened at festivals in 2016 and won first place documentary prize at the LA Reel Film Festival. The Passengers is Ryan’s first feature film.
