Alexandra Dean is an Emmy award-winning journalist and documentary director. She produced news-magazine stories and documentaries for PBS and Bloomberg television. She’s also worked as a print journalist, writing about invention for Businessweek magazine. She is a founding member of Reframed Pictures along with actress Susan Sarandon and producer Adam Haggiag. She currently directs and produces documentary films. Her feature documentary, Bombshell: The Hedy Lamarr Story, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and won the Adrienne Shelley Award for Excellence in Filmmaking at Nantucket. The film is due for theatrical release in November 2017.
