Eric Richard Scott is a Canadian independent producer and documentary filmmaker based in Montreal, Quebec. He started in the television and documentary film industry in the early 1980s, notably as a researcher. 20 years later, he created his own production house in order to realize his personal projects with a minimum of constraints.
Eric’s films address themes of nationalism, religious and ethnic identity, fundamentalism and multiculturalism. They are particularly interested in individuals of good faith rebelling against authority. The telling of their novel and complex stories aim to stimulate social debate and challenge conventional wisdom.
