Celia Lowenstein has directed and produced over 50 films whose subject matter ranges from science, art, philosophy, portraits, dance, music and crime. Her genres include fly-on-the-wall, narrative fiction including musicals, films in verse and long and short form documentaries. She has traveled all over the world with small and large crews. Her films have been commissioned by BBC, CBS, NBC, PBS, Channel 4 (UK), Channel 5 (UK), ARTE/ZDF, Planète+ (France), Discovery, Discovery ID, National Geographic, NOVA, Animal Planet and CBS.
