Keren Ben Rafael is a director living between Paris and Tel Aviv. Born and raised in Israel, she studied cinema at La Fémis school in Paris. Her first feature film, Virgins (2018), has won several awards worldwide, including Best Actress at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival and the Fipresci Prize at the 2018 Jerusalem Film Festival. Her second feature film The End of Love (2019) was first shown at the Venice International Film Festival as part of the Biennale College Cinema program. It won Best Feature Film at the Nara International Film Festival in Japan and CinemaMed Bruxelles at the Renc’art Montreuil. Most recently, it won the Mickie Moore Award at the 2020 Toronto Jewish Film Festival.
