Miriam Lewin got her start in film while working at the Opera Company of Philadelphia (now Opera Philadelphia) where she helped produce the company’s first telecasts. She has made documentary shorts on topics ranging from housing discrimination in Georgia to the Kindertransport and the Yale Glee Club. She has also written and produced radio programs on classical music, including a series of shows for Jewish holidays hosted by violinist Itzhak Perlman.
