Dusty Klass is the Associate Rabbi at Temple Beth El in Charlotte North Carolina. She was born and raised in Seattle, WA and completed her undergraduate work at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Rabbi Klass was ordained from the Los Angeles campus of Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion with masters degrees in Hebrew Letters and Jewish Educational Leadership.

Rabbi Klass relished the opportunity to talk Judaism and bodies, from the way our ancient sages grapple with the vulnerability of pooping to the way they address half-beast half-divine nature of humanity. Because Judaism is a religion that many people associate solely with the head, Rabbi Klass likes any excuse to remind people of all of the ways their bodies play into and can enhance Jewish identity and practice.
